I don't know how many different tee shirt patterns I have. It's probably a pretty big number. Apparently I really like trying out new ones. Sometimes I try a new one and feel indifferent about it, rarely I'll try a new one and hate it, but generally I'll try a new one and love it for one reason or another. I like sewing, I like patterns, and generally I'll love something about what I make.

That was the case with the Wardrobe by Me Sneha. The fit of the pattern plus the few options that it includes just makes me happy!
The Wardrobe by Me Sneha:
This is a pattern drafted for knit fabrics. It works best with a drapey fabric. It includes a top length, a tunic length, a dress with a front cut out (that is really cute), or another dress that
hits at about knee length. It can be made with a scoop neck or with a v-neckline.
The top and dress are fitted at the bust and swings out a bit at the waist and hip.
My Sneha Top and Dress:
The first time I sewed this pattern, I tried the top length. I decided to start with it to make sure I was happy with the fit before making a version that used more fabric.
Because I've made Wardrobe by Me patterns before, I knew that I generally need a broad shoulder adjustment for their tops and dresses. So, I decided to go ahead an broaden the shoulders before starting, the same width I usually do for the WBM Wardrobe Builder Tee.
I chose my size based on my measurements. I started with a size 4 bust, and blended to a size 8 waist and hip. I made this using the short sleeve pattern piece.
The top I made was made using a rayon spandex fabric I got in a scrap box a long time ago. It is a nice weight, and good quality. It was easy to sew and work with. I love the fit of the top. It has enough ease at the waist that it is so comfortable to wear.
After deciding that I loved my top, I wanted to try a different version. I decided to go with a dress. For my size, I was able to get the elbow length sleeve dress from about two yards. For my dress, I used a double brushed poly fabric that I got from Amelia Lane Designs last year.
I really love how it turned out! It is so comfortable, and my favorite thing to wear on warm days now!
The Pattern: the pattern is on sale right now! I think that it's a great value for all the options! You can make a comfortable top or dress in no time!
