New Halloween Tees!

I've never loved Halloween. No real reason, just never liked it. Dressing up isn't my thing. I don't care for the scary stuff. Somehow the dressing up and trick-or-treating and all the decorations just doesn't appeal to me. But... OH MY GOODNESS... I have a child who is obsessed. He loves everything Halloween. If it's scary, he likes it. If it's a pumpkin, a ghost, a skeleton, anything that could be Halloween related, he wants it. He's teaching his little brother to appreciate the holiday as well. While I was walking through Hobby Lobby the other day, Luke spotted orange flowers... he yelled about the "Halloween Flowers" until we exited the store. **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the fabric used in this post. Getting Dressed for Halloween!

Honestly, Halloween was never my favorite holiday. It was just a day where some people dressed up. I don't particularly care for dressing up, so I haven't since I was a little girl. But... I have two sweet boys now. And one of them LOVES Halloween. So I'm participating in all the costume sewing, fun holiday-themed tee making, and Halloween-themed blog tours, and am actually really enjoying it! 😉 Today is my day to share on the DIY Halloween Costume Blog Tour hosted by Seams Sew Low . Okay... so I'm actually just sharing some Halloween-Themed tees, but they're so fun! I promise to show a picture of their costumes too! Daniel loves ghosts, pumpkins, costumes, candy, scary stuff, Halloween Decorations, everything Halloween related. I don't know where he gets it, but he loves the holiday. So, I have happily now made him 4 costumes in his life, and for the last two years, I've made him a couple of Halloween-themed shirts. So, for my day on the DIY Hal...

Spooky and Sweet, Ready for Trick or Treat!

Daniel has been asking since about July when Halloween is. He REALLY wanted to be Batman for Halloween. I knew he would change his mind before October, so I waited to sew his costume. After all, kids change their minds, right? I should have known better. Daniel is stubborn and when he makes a decision, (whether good or bad), he sticks with it. Last year, he decided very early that he wanted to be an airline pilot for Halloween, and I was surprised that he even knew what an airline pilot was or what they wore, but he did, and I obliged, making him an airline pilot costume. When Sunni of  Made for Little Gents announced that she would be hosting a Halloween Blog Tour, I immediately signed up, knowing that it would force me to get costumes made a couple of weeks early! Early is ALWAYS good, because otherwise, I'm last minute. So today is my day on the Magnificent Wizards Blog Tour.  May I present to you.... My Version of Batman and Robin! Daniel chose Batman, and sinc...
