My New Outfit!

I tested a pair of joggers a while ago for a different company... I struggled to get a good fit during the test, and I know pants can be hard to fit. So, although I have been intrigued by some different patterns since then, I haven't tried making other joggers for myself.  Well, I've been eying this pattern for quite a while because it looked so good. I also have always gotten a good fit using Sinclair patterns, but had not tried any of their pants until now. I kind of expected them to be good though, because everything by Sinclair is! So here are my JJ Joggers . About the Pattern :   This is an easy jogger pattern. There are two length options - Long and below the knee length. They have a waistband with cased elastic and a drawstring, and pockets.  They can be made using knit fabrics with 30-50% stretch. The waistband and leg cuffs should be made using a fabric with great recovery though.  For my pants, I chose to use a thick 2" elastic I had on hand rather than the...

Liverpool Joggers 😍 - The Urban Sweats by Wardrobe by Me

I've used liverpool MANY times. It's one of my favorite fabric types, but generally, I've only used it to make dresses and skirts in the past. But now I'm wondering why!  Liverpool makes AWESOME joggers! They look nicer than actual sweatpants, but are just as comfy. I can wear them and still look "put together" but feel like I'm wearing pajama pants! That's really cool, right? It's enough to make anyone happy! 😉 **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the pattern I used throughout this post. If you choose to purchase a pattern using my affiliate link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you!** So when I got this beautiful mauve, floral liverpool from Amelia Lane Designs , I immediately planned to make a pencil skirt to go with this dolman top I made a couple of weeks ago. But then, when I was ready to cut, I just wasn't feeling it. I was not sure I would like the pencil skirt with the to...

Jaycee's Joggers by CKC

I bought a couple of 2 yard cuts of cotton lycra a WHILE ago. I've been meaning to try my hand at making lounge pants or leggings, but just haven't. I've done all kinds of other things, and I always think I want something new that I can wear outside of the house rather than another pair of lounge pants. But the truth is, I don't actually have THAT many pairs of lounge pants! I have one pair of yoga pants, a pair of knee length yoga pants, and old pants I wore for danceline practice in high-school. I could really use more around-the-house pants. Mamas deserve lounge pants. 🤣 So... I did it! I spent a few minutes sewing up the new Jaycee's Joggers by CKC Patterns . These can be your super basic joggers (the version I did), or you have options to change them up a bit. Let me tell you all about this pattern. About Jaycee's Joggers : As I mentioned, you can make these joggers as basic as you would like. There are front leg, bag leg, waistband, and ankleba...
