Back around Christmas, Matthew fell in love with Peppa Pig. Luke watched it sometimes too, but Matthew REALLY loved it. So, for one of his gifts, I made him a Peppa tee shirt. Luke was SO jealous. It's been a bit since I've pattern tested for Scotty. Leah bought some royal blue fabric several weeks ago for me to make a tee shirt for Scotty, so when I saw the pattern test by Wardrobe by Me, I decided that it was the perfect time to make him a couple of new shirts. Wardrobe by Me is releasing both the short sleeve "Classic Tee" and the long sleeve "Breton Tee." They are both classic designs, but have some differences setting them apart from one another. The Classic Tee : The Classic Tee is your regular short sleeve tee shirt design. It's designed for jersey fabric with or without stretch. The neckline should be made using a ribbed fabric (or something with good stretch and recovery). It is drafted in sizes 2XS-3XL (27.5" to 45" Chest). I've had this fabric for a few weeks with plans of making some tee shirts for Valentine's Day... I knew what I wanted to make, but had not decided which pattern to use. As soon as I received the fabric, I prewashed everything. I prewashed the burgundy like seven or so times to make sure it didn't bleed on the white in future washes! But then I didn't sew it until this week! I spent too much time trying to decide which pattern to use to make these basic shirts. I knew I wanted to make a short sleeve shirt from the sharks layered over an attached long sleeve with a burgundy neckband. Simple. But I put it off because I wanted to make sure I used something with a slim enough long sleeve for the short sleeve to fit easily over, and I was trying to decide. Also, I kind of don't enjoy sewing sleeves in the round, and kind of don't do it unless it's necessary (with layered sleeves or woven fabrics). Daniel is very imaginative. He has a much bigger imagination than I ever did as a child. He's really creative and is always making all kinds of things. He plays pretend a lot. And I LOVE it! I love watching it, and listening to it. He also pushes me to be creative. He always has the best ideas for games to play, or for things he wants me to sew. Well, a few months back, I saw a pre-order for this fabric. I KNEW Luke would love it, so I ordered some. I knew it was iffy whether or not Daniel would like it. But, for the last several weeks, he has REALLY gotten into Paw Patrol and Mighty Pups, so he fell in love with the print. He possibly likes it more than his brother. So when I saw the tester call for the update of  CKC Josh's Pajamas , I decided to use some of this really fun fabric and make Daniel a new pajama set. Kristen was really needing some testers for shorts to fill the test. Many testers wanted to do the pants version since we're mid-winter here in the U.S., but Daniel likes to sleep in shorts, so I applied to test! Daniel loves them y'all!
