A Perfect Pair - My Mama's Newest Sinclair Ivy

When this fabric came, I was planning to sew it for my mama. I've made her a few tops in the past couple of months and planned to use one of the same patterns - either the Love Notions Laundry Day Tee or the Wardrobe by Me Sneha Tunic. I didn't order any coordinates to go with it, so I planned to make the whole top from the same fabric. I was getting ready to cut it out last weekend, but I needed to clean up some of my mess first from my last couple of sewing projects. My mind immediately went to the Sinclair Ivy. It is perfect for using two fabrics, I already had had her size printed because I've made he...

Black & White Summer Basics!

The second I saw this fabric , I loved it. I knew IMMEDIATELY what I wanted to make with it... I planned to use about a yard for her top, so I'd have about 3 yards to split between my sister and me. I remembered that the Love Notions Summer Basics Tank Dress in knee length only used about 1.5 yards for my size, so my decision was made! I made two Summer Basics Dresses (one for my sister and the other for me). And here is my mama's Sinclair Ivy ! The Summer Basics Dress: This pattern is a knit pattern for a tank top or dress. There are a few leng...

Sinclair Ivy Top

I always have small random scraps left from projects... you know the ones... they're not really big enough for much, but they're way too big to throw out! So I save them, and save them, and wait for a good project to come along.  Are you like me? This new top is the PERFECT pattern for using some of your scrap pieces!  **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the pattern I used in this post. If you choose to purchase this pattern using my link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you!** I got EXCITED when I saw the testing call for the Sinclair Ivy top ! And not just a little excited. Like it was love at first line drawing! 😍 Have you ever had this reaction to a pattern? Then I sewed it, and I loved it even more!  Photo from the Sinclair Website Let me tell you about the Pattern ! This pattern is drafted for knit fabrics. It's fitted at the shoulders, semi-fitted at the bust, and flares out towards...
