Baby Boston's by CKC Patterns

I love putting babies and toddlers in outfits like this. They're really adorable, and you can make them "dressy" or fun depending on what fabric types you use. And you can only dress little boys like this for so long, and then they're too big. So, I like to dress him like this while he will still let me! 💓 When this pattern was ready for testing, I knew that, even though Luke has similar things, I would still want to test it. He has a few things that are church appropriate in his current size, so I decided to make his outfit really fun, something he would love! Let's Take a Look at CKC Boston This is a pattern intended for woven fabrics. It is for a little top that buttons or snaps at the shoulders and a diaper cover. Sizes Newborn - 18-24 months are included in the pattern. Both the top and the diaper cover are reversible. The pattern is very EASY and FAST! You can have a new little outfit for your little guy (or girl) in a matter of less than a couple

The Ellie and Mac Monday Morning Dress

When this pattern released, part of me wanted to try it, but I didn't, because I have another pattern that is kind of similar.  However, when you want to do something, you can't stop thinking about it until you do try it, right?  So when, Ellie and Mac announced the Summer Dress Event , I HAD to, right?  **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the patterns used in this post. I've seen so much speculation about why this might be called the Monday Morning Dress... I'm going to guess that it's because it's so cute that it can make your Monday Morning feel brighter! 😉 Or maybe you'll love it so much that you're excited to get out of bed, even on a Monday, to put it on! Who knows?! But regardless of why  it's named the Monday Morning Dress, it's a super quick sew, it&#

Liverpool Joggers 😍 - The Urban Sweats by Wardrobe by Me

I've used liverpool MANY times. It's one of my favorite fabric types, but generally, I've only used it to make dresses and skirts in the past. But now I'm wondering why!  Liverpool makes AWESOME joggers! They look nicer than actual sweatpants, but are just as comfy. I can wear them and still look "put together" but feel like I'm wearing pajama pants! That's really cool, right? It's enough to make anyone happy! 😉 **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the pattern I used throughout this post. If you choose to purchase a pattern using my affiliate link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you!** So when I got this beautiful mauve, floral liverpool from Amelia Lane Designs , I immediately planned to make a pencil skirt to go with this dolman top I made a couple of weeks ago. But then, when I was ready to cut, I just wasn't feeling it. I was not sure I would like the pencil skirt with the to

The Creative Cap Sleeve Top by Winter Wear Designs

I didn't realize until recently that I have a "thing" for Dolman Patterns. It was when I blogged here that I remembered exactly how many  dolman patterns I have! You may have also noticed that I sew a good many Winter Wear Designs Patterns, so when Suzanne mentioned that she had a dolman ready for testing, I didn't hesitate! **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the pattern I used in this post. If you choose to purchase using my link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you** This is the New Creative Cap Sleeve Top by Winter Wear Designs! This pattern is a basic dolman patterns, but as the word "Creative" in the title suggests, it's got some options! It's an easy, pretty quick sew (depending on the options you choose). When you sew it for the first time, you'll notice that the side seams and armscyes are finished slightly differently than other dolmans, giving it this "cap sleeve&qu

The Athina Kakou Meg Top and Dress

I've sewed a few Athina Kakou Patterns , and I'm really loving them. I think Athina's sense of style must be at least somewhat similar to mine, because I LOVE pretty much every pattern she has designed. They are really pretty to me! 💓 So when she asked if I would test the Meg Dress & Top I didn't even hesitate. I really love it! Unfortunately, I did not have time to test the latest version of the top, due to my vacation and other things to which I had already committed, but I'll just say that the final version must be amazing, because I was so happy with Version 1... Improving on an already good thing means a great thing, right? Let's talk about this pattern : This pattern is drafted for woven fabrics. You can sew it either in hip-length top length or in dress length. It is a fairly quick sew because of the style. It has dolman sleeves, which are quicker and have a different fit than set in sleeves. There are optional turn up cuffs (I believe these

Black & White Summer Basics!

The second I saw this fabric , I loved it. I knew IMMEDIATELY what I wanted to make with it... It looked like my mama to me, and I've been wanting to try out the Sinclair Ivy for her, but I loved it so much that I wanted something too, so I ordered 4 yards and got busy thinking. **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate links to the patterns used in this post. If you choose to purchase a pattern using my link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you** It is so pretty! I planned to use about a yard for her top, so I'd have about 3 yards to split between my sister and me. I remembered that the Love Notions Summer Basics Tank Dress in knee length only used about 1.5 yards for my size, so my decision was made! I made two Summer Basics Dresses (one for my sister and the other for me). And here is my mama's Sinclair Ivy ! The Summer Basics Dress: This pattern is a knit pattern for a tank top or dress. There are a few leng

The Wardrobe by Me Carma Camisole

Every now and then you have to try something a little different. Right? I haven't ever really had a dress like this... the kind with the little thin straps. And I'm not 100% sure that it's really "my thing," but I really like it anyway! **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the pattern I used. If you choose to purchase a pattern using my link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you** The second I saw this new fabric by Amelia Lane Designs , I got this idea in my head. I had only one yard of this beautiful print to work with, so I was a bit limited with what I could do. Initially, I planned to make a top, but with the large scale of the print, I was worried that you wouldn't really be able to see the print, so I settled on a dress. There are not many dresses I can cut from one yard, but then I remembered seeing this one on the Wardrobe by Me website. This is the Wardrobe by Me Carma . Despite the fact
