I didn't realize until recently that I have a "thing" for Dolman Patterns. It was when I blogged here that I remembered exactly how many  dolman patterns I have! Okay, I admit to liking quick sews. It is so satisfying to me to have a new handmade something to wear... like NOW. So I don't choose more complicated/ time-consuming projects often enough. I almost  have to have a reason to choose a more time-consuming project. A blog tour or a pattern test is usually the perfect incentive for me to get something made, something awesome, but a little more time consuming...something like the Button Up Top by Winter Wear Designs ! The Placket Blog Tour gave me the push I needed to try this pattern, and I have to say... it's amazing. I'm sure I'll be using it again. Like I'm wanting to go get all the woven fabrics right now, all that quilting cotton I've been eyeing but didn't know what I would sew with it... I know what you're thinking. I don't need  another tank. I thought that too when I saw the tester call for the Winter Wear Designs Starting Point Tank , but it looked like a fairly simple, quick sew to get me back in the swing of things after the holidays. So, I eagerly applied to test. And... I'm pretty happy I did! Let me tell you about the tank ... This tank is one of the Wardrobe Builder Patterns at Winter Wear Designs, meaning that its only $5 forever! I love these $5 patterns. They're all beautiful, and just as amazing as any other pattern, but they're perfect, fairly simple sews for filling up your closet. They truly are Wardrobe Builders. This one is designed to fit close to the skin with negative ease, so obviously requires stretch fabrics. It has two neckline options, the scoop neck and the deep scoop neck.
