It's been a while since I posted. I've been sewing, helping my kindergartener with virtual school, and living, which just hasn't left me with a lot of time for blogging! Life happens!  But... I've kind of missed writing, and I decided that now was the perfect time to make a new post. Do you have any idea how many  tee shirt patterns there are out there for ladies? WOW! There are a ton. You can find super fitted tees, semi fitted tees, relaxed fit tees. There are tees with different length options, different neckline options, included hoods and cowl necks. There are all kinds of different tee patterns available. Then you'll find similar patterns from different designers, but although they're almost the same, the fit will be different. You'll find that some designers fit your body with few adjustments and others may need a lot of work to fit you well. Some designers you may land all in one size, while others you have to blend two or three sizes to get your best fit. I say all this just because there is a really good reason to own more than one tee pattern. Every now and then you have to try something a little different. Right? I haven't ever really had a dress like this... the kind with the little thin straps. I sew knits a LOT. I love just serging everything together. It's faster, and I've gotten pretty good with knits. However, occasionally, I choose a woven item to push myself. It forces me to take my time, to try new things, and to work with a different fabric type. There is always something to learn. The Betty Dress was the first Sinclair Pattern I EVER tried. I had always heard great things, so when I saw the tester call for this dress, I excitedly applied. That was about a year ago I guess!
