The Wardrobe by Me Asta Dress

Sometimes you find a pattern that you'll pull out again and again. That is the case with this pattern. I love wearing dresses. I feel so pretty and feminine. Putting on a dress can put me in a better mood sometimes. So I was more than excited to test the expansion of the Asta Dress. **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the pattern I used for this post. Once I made the sleeveless version and another time, I made a sleeved version. I've worn both of them several times.  So I already knew I liked the pattern, and was thrilled to try some of the new options!  Here is my new Wardrobe by Me Asta Dress . The pattern: The pattern is drafted for knit fabrics. It makes a beautiful dress with a few options you can choose from. You can make your dress sleeveless, or chose rom...

The Wardrobe by Me Sneha

I don't know how many different tee shirt patterns I have. It's probably a pretty big number. Apparently I really like trying out new ones. Sometimes I try a new one and feel indifferent about it, rarely I'll try a new one and hate it, but generally I'll try a new one and love it for one reason or another.  I like sewing, I like patterns, and generally I'll love something about what I make. **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the pattern I used for this post. If you choose to purchase a pattern from Wardrobe by Me using my link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional charge to you.** That was the case with the Wardrobe by Me Sneha . The fit of the pattern plus the few options that it includes just makes me happy! The Wardrobe by Me Sneha : This is a pattern drafted for knit fabrics. It works best with a drapey fabric. It includes a top length, a tunic length, a dress with a front cut out (that is really cute), or...

New Tees for Scotty - The Wardrobe by Me Breton and Classic Tees

It's been a bit since I've pattern tested for Scotty. Leah bought some royal blue fabric several weeks ago for me to make a tee shirt for Scotty, so when I saw the pattern test by Wardrobe by Me, I decided that it was the perfect time to make him a couple of new shirts. Wardrobe by Me is releasing both the short sleeve "Classic Tee" and the long sleeve "Breton Tee." They are both classic designs, but have some differences setting them apart from one another. The Classic Tee : The Classic Tee is your regular short sleeve tee shirt design. It's designed for jersey fabric with or without stretch. The neckline should be made using a ribbed fabric (or something with good stretch and recovery). It is drafted in sizes 2XS-3XL (27.5" to 45" Chest). The height for the pattern is drafted based on size (and ranges from 5'4" for the smallest size to 6'2" for the largest size). The design is a "classic" fit - not...

More Matching in Our ALD

When I saw this fabric , I kind of think I fell in love. Y'all, it's just so pretty! I love the pretty, vibrant colors. I love the floral design. And it's pretty different from most of my wardrobe. My closet that used to be filled with black and blues is looking more pink and mauve these days. Thanks friends at Amelia Lane Designs .  **Disclosure: this blog post includes my affiliate link to the pattern I used for this post. If you choose to purchase a Wardrobe by Me pattern using my link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you!** So, I was excited for something new and different. I had one yard for promotion and sharing, and ordered a second yard to make my beautiful Adrian Dress. (Adrian is the fabric's name 😉) When it came in, it was SO pretty. I was trying to decide what dress to make, but then it hit me... I didn't need a new dress. Leah and I needed matching tops! We enjoy our matching clothes...

The Wardrobe by My Wardrobe Builder Tee

I may have an excessive number of basic tee patterns. For some reason, I guess I just can't help myself ... I want to try them all. But without trying one, I may miss out on something really awesome. So there's a really good reason to try all the patterns, right? **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to this pattern throughout this post. If you choose to make a purchase from Wardrobe by Me using my link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you.** Let me introduce you to the Wardrobe Builder Tee by Wardrobe by Me Patterns. Have you ever had one of those patterns that had lots of options... you were SO excited to buy or test it because of all the variations. But then when you opened the file, it was really difficult to sort through. It was hard to figure out which pages to print, and the instructions were a bit overwhelming.  Let me start with telling you, This is NOT that pattern! Easy To Print and Put Together: This pa...

The Wardrobe by Me Amelia Bomber

I made a jacket, y'all! I think this might be the most complex pattern I've made before. I've really been pushing myself lately to stretch my skill set... and doing that has required that I sew woven fabrics a bit more. You know, I love knits because they're quick and easy to sew. Wovens require me to go more slowly, pin more, be more precise, and sometimes use closures (buttons, zippers, etc). **Disclosure: I have included my affiliate link to the patterns mentioned in this post. If you choose to purchase a pattern using my link, I'll receive a small commission of the sale at no additional cost to you** So... my newest woven make is the Wardrobe by Me Amelia Bomber . I really love it! Information About the Pattern : The pattern has recently been updated to include sizes 0-24. It has a sporty look, but with the right combination of fabrics, it is also a very classic design. The jacket has a facing and a lining. The jacket is made for woven fabrics, alth...
