I remember seeing the Weekender Tunic when it released. I remember liking it on everyone, but I didn't get the pattern. I've been into color-blocking lately. It's a really fun way to use solids, small scraps, and custom fabrics to keep the cost down. Also, if you want to use only solids, you can use color-blocking to make something totally cool and NOT boring. Solid tees have their place, but my nearly 5 year old doesn't want to wear solids all the time, and I don't blame him! I've never loved Halloween. No real reason, just never liked it. Dressing up isn't my thing. I don't care for the scary stuff.
